Tier 1

Tier 2

The average price of a Tier 2 water system is between $3,500 to $6,000. These systems are middle-of-the-road options and will provide soft water for a few years, but most do not offer more than that one function. This means that while they can soften water, they cannot remove chlorine, turbidity, and other contaminants. Most Tier 2 products offer a 5- to 10-year warranty, which is a very accurate estimate of their longevity.  

Our advice: Tier 2 water processing systems are typically not a complete solution.
