UDI’s ULTRA-6 uses six stages of filtration, offering superior contaminant removal, taste improvement, and durability compared to basic RO filters found online or at big-box stores.
Our water softeners are efficient and require minimal salt—typically one 40-lb bag per month depending on usage and household size.
Yes. Chlorine is commonly added to municipal water, and our systems effectively remove chlorine to improve both taste and odor.
UDI Product Questions
Hydro-5 STS® Water Processor
The Hydro-5 STS® is a 5-in-1 water processor that combines softening, refining, filtering, clarifying, and cleansing in a single high-performance system. It removes hardness, chlorine, odors, chloramines and turbidity, providing your entire home with better-tasting and healthier water.
Yes. The Hydro-5 STS® is built to commercial-grade standards and is highly effective at treating hard water and reducing scale buildup, even in homes with well water. Pairing it with a FILOX pre-treatment system enhances performance for high-iron or sulfur conditions.
Absolutely. By reducing hard water minerals and other contaminants, the Hydro-5 STS® helps extend the lifespan of dishwashers, washing machines, water heaters, and plumbing by preventing scale buildup and corrosion.
Hydro Quad®SS
The Hydro Quad®SS features four layers that target different contaminants—activated carbon for chlorine and taste, ion exchange resin for hardness, a clarifier for fine particles, and a quartz filter for even water distribution. This creates exceptionally processed water.
The Hydro Quad®SS is ideal for Florida and Georgia homes facing heavy mineral content, unpleasant odors, and hard water damage. Its large capacity and commercial-grade build make it perfect for families or homes with significant water usage.
Yes. The stainless steel valve and tank construction offer greater durability, temperature resistance, and longevity compared to typical plastic systems. It’s part of why UDI backs this product with a limited lifetime guarantee.
The Hydro-5 STS® is a newer, more advanced model that offers five distinct treatment functions (softening, refining, clarifying, filtering, and cleansing), while the Hydro Quad®SS offers four. The Hydro-5 STS® also features an electro-mechanical stainless steel valve that self-cleans based on water usage and hardness, improving efficiency and longevity. Both systems are built to last, but the Hydro-5 STS® provides a slightly more comprehensive level of treatment and automation.
Water Pro Plus
Unlike basic softeners, Water Pro Plus combines softening, chlorine removal, and odor/taste filtering in one unit, making it ideal for homes with moderate water concerns and a need for better-tasting water.
It uses a trusted Fleck 5600 control valve with a meter, ensuring accurate regeneration based on actual water use—saving water and salt.
FILOX Pre-Treatment System
FILOX removes sulfur, iron, and iron bacteria that can clog and degrade the performance of your main system. It acts as a critical first line of defense for private well users in Florida and Georgia.
Yes. That smell is typically caused by hydrogen sulfide or sulfur bacteria. FILOX is designed specifically to filter these out before they reach your main water processor.
No. While any filtration system benefits from routine checks, FILOX is designed for durability and efficiency, making it a low-maintenance solution for well water pre-treatment.
AIR CleanStation
CleanStation is a Class II Medical Device used by hospitals and medical facilities. It offers 99.99% particle collection at 0.3 microns, killing viruses, bacteria, mold, and filtering harmful gases with an 8-stage system—far surpassing standard HEPA purifiers.

LOCAL WATER CONCERNS (FLORIDA & GEORGIA)
While it’s treated, many Florida homeowners report chlorine, sulfur, and sediment issues. A UDI system ensures peace of mind.
That could be due to chlorine, hydrogen sulfide, or bacteria. UDI systems eliminate these issues at the source.
Hard water, iron staining, sulfur smells, chlorine taste, and PFAS contamination are all frequently reported.
Yes. We offer systems specifically designed to eliminate rotten-egg odors and rust stains caused by iron and sulfur.
Yes. Like much of Florida, Jacksonville’s water contains high mineral levels. A softener from UDI can solve this.
This is often caused by iron in the water. UDI systems remove these minerals before they can stain fixtures.
